Job Title: Accounts Admin Assistant

Providing detailed and comprehensive reporting is an integral part of our commitment to our customers. We are proud to have worked with some of our key clients on both BREEAM excellence projects and zero waste to landfill projects over the last 5 years. Recycling dashboard reports are produced in line with WRAP Assessment Guidelines and are available on our online portal, Vision, on a monthly basis, however if required we can coordinate and present this information to you in line with any reporting time scales you have.

As an Accounts Admin Assistant, you will be supporting the business with the day-to-day accounting duties such as accounts payable, and general finance duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Report all queries and works to finance manager.
  • Processing of supplier invoices.
  • Credit control.
  • Supplier & customer account opening.
  • Supplier payment reconciliations.
  • Preparation of supplier payment batches.
  • Reconciling invoices with bespoke Acorn system.
  • Inputting invoices into Xero or experience of similar systems.
  • Query liaison with suppliers.
  • Invoice query resolution.
  • Assisting Financial Manager.
  • Quality Control.
  • High level of efficiency and cleanliness.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bookkeeping experience is essential.
  • Working towards AAT or ACCA would be desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • General IT skills required – Microsoft Sytems including Word, Excel & Office)
  • Knowledge of Xero advantageous.
  • Knowledge of CIS advantageous.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Proactive and attention to detail.
  • Be able to work in a team and under pressure.
  • Able to work within a team and independently.
  • Awareness of deadlines and the ability to prioritise work accordingly.

Essential:

You will need to be able to drive as we are in a rural area and public transport is limited.
