The Role:

We are currently seeking a (Part Qualified) UK Commercial Management Accountant who has strong technical skills and experience, reporting to the Head of Finance and working closely with the CFO. You who will be key to driving the continued growth of the business through the monthly management reporting and analysis prepared. You will be CIMA qualified, (or part) and you will have a proactive attitude for continual improvement and driving results. You will be ambitious and want to grow as the business continues to grow both in the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the month end process, ensuring accuracy and delivery of the monthly reporting.
  • Production of monthly Management Accounts.
  • Managing project revenue recognition under IFRS15 revenue accounting.
  • Lease accounting under IFRS16.
  • Preparation of Revenue by Client reporting and analysis of the data.
  • Accounting for the costs of the business and challenging the business through the production of appropriate monthly cost centre reporting.
  • Supporting with the Intercompany postings and reconciliations.
  • IT costs analysis actual vs budget and present this to the Global IT Director on a monthly basis.
  • Produce ad hoc analysis.
  • Support in the budgeting process and support managers with the production of their cost budgets.
  • Accurate processing of employee expenses ensuring compliance with travel and expense policy.
  • Processing of payroll journals, completion of monthly payroll reconciliations and headcount reporting.
  • Receipting of purchase orders where applicable to allow processing of purchase ledger invoices to ensure segregation of duties.
  • Working with the Project Managers and Account Managers to ensure the timely approval of project hours at month end and posting of the project hours on the ERP system.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations for deferred revenue, deferred costs and costs, Support the US VP of Finance, Post of project hours, completing monthly cost of sales analysis, rolling forward the monthly management accounts, Support the year end audit process and investigate any audit queries.

About you:

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Degree and CIMA / ACCA studier.
  • Advanced excel skills.
  • Experience of working in a strong control environment.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite ideal or similar ERP systems.
