Based: Olton, Solihull, B27 6PF

Salary: £16,962 pa or £9.32 per hour

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

The Trust (a well-established charitable housing and care provider based in Olton, Solihull) currently has full-time vacancies for a Care Assistant to work day and night shifts at Alexandra House, the Trust’s residential care home, and Domiciliary Care Assistants to work at Alexandra Court, its Extra Care Scheme.

Some experience of working with older people would be beneficial but is not essential, they will provide relevant training

As a Care Assistant you will put the residents’ care and wellbeing at the heart of everything you do. The Trust promotes independence, dignity and quality of life always in a person centred, caring and supportive environment.

Key things about you:

  • Reliable, able to work under pressure, follow instructions and procedures
  • Good writing and verbal communication skills
  • Exhibit a caring and compassionate attitude while articulating true concern for people
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Driving license and use of a car for the Domiciliary Care Assistant role
  • An enhanced DBS check will be taken up for successful candidates
