The Role:

This role is to fill a current vacancy in the UK sales team based in Solihull. The post holder is expected to develop, grow and nurture a sales pipeline driven from sales-i partnerships using your previous software business development skills. You must use these skills to deliver net new monthly recurring revenue in sales-i subscriptions and services through new & existing channel partners, and to contribute to the sales-i UK/EMEA business objectives.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Developing and nurturing sales-i’s sales pipeline, working with prospective client’s C-level and senior staff to anticipate their technology needs and objectives.
  • Work full cycle deals from demo complete to close.
  • Communicate sales-i technology in easily understood business terms and its impact to business outcomes. Develop procurement strategy for finance and sourcing teams to accelerate to close.
  • Achieve a minimum annual target as set within the commission plan and amended from time to time.
  • Research and evaluate potential technology ERP partners, ERP resellers, value add partners, associations and industry buying groups with the prospect of adding them to the sales-I strategic partner program.
  • Re-engage existing technology partner relationships to create sales facing heat map of partnerships and opportunities.
  • Ensure partner compliance with partner agreements.
  • Address partner related issues including sales conflicts (channel conflict) in a timely manner.
  • Lead a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.

The Candidate:

  • 5 years+ of experience in an executive / enterprise sales position, or similar.
  • 5+ years of experience in a software channel development role, or similar
  • Experience meeting and exceeding target consistently.
  • Ability to drive sales and achieve results.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
  • Self-starter, creating your own opportunities.
  • In-depth knowledge of the sales process and customer behaviour.
  • Understanding of technical complexities.
  • Great at self-assessment.
  • Ability to adjust your approach to each prospect.
  • Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue pipeline in our CRM.
