Job Title: Contract Coordinator (Projects)

Location: Atherton, Manchester, M46

Salary: £20,000 – £25,000 per annum

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

As a Contracts Coordinator you will report into the Lead Contracts Coordinator] and be responsible for the preparation of accurate quotations for Projects and Small Works. You will provide administrative support that support profitable business decisions and act proactively to ensure smooth team operations including effective collaboration with all key suppliers and sub-contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare work to be estimated by reviewing client work requests, blueprints, specifications, service sheets/reports and related documents.
  • Identify labour, material, time requirements and equipment hire by studying, blueprints, specifications, service sheets/reports and related documents and determines if internal or external resources are required.
  • Compute costs by analysing labour, material, and time requirements.
  • Obtains quotes for all predicted requirements from sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analysing information.
  • In conjunction with the Project Managers clarify the client’s needs and expectations where necessary.
  • Prepare and present quote/estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information at appropriate sale price.
  • Maintain cost data base by entering and backing up data.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Learn and understand all contracts and the specific requirements that need to be met in line with SLAs & KPIs.

The Candidate:

  • Experience in a similar role would be advantageous
  • Ability to organise and plan own work
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
  • A flexible, proactive approach to work including the ability to prioritise and reprioritise
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent IT skills, including a working knowledge of presentation software packages, preferably Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
