Job Title: Experienced Curtain and Blind Maker

This company is a London based manufacturer of bespoke top end soft furnishings for the trade. They work with many of London and the UK’s top interior designers, developers and architects on a range of residential and commercial projects.
They are looking to employ a full time experienced curtain maker and blind maker to help create their made to measure curtains, blinds, tracks and poles for properties throughout London and the North West. Based out of their office in Willsden Junction, this experienced Curtain and Blind Maker will join their team on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hand sewing and use sewing machine to create top quality curtains.
- Your practical skills will be top quality, and you’ll be able to produce soft furnishing (both machine and hand stitching) of the highest standard in terms of structure and finish.
- Responsible for providing a quality finish while identifying any prominent issues.
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a professional capacity is essential.
- Good spoken English
- Ability to occasionally work on making cushions and bed valances would be an advantage.
- Capable of working in a fast paced environment to meet deadlines without comprising on quality.
- Experienced at following a brief whilst working accurately and precisely.
- Has a ‘can do’ and flexible attitude.
- Honest, energetic, reliable, great timekeeper, able to work in a team or alone, unsupervised.
- Can work to time frames set by the office team.
