Job Title: Tour Co-ordinator

Location: Hove, East Sussex

Salary: £20,000 – £24,000 per annum, dependent on experience

They have two successful and growing brands – one specialises in tailor-made ski holidays to North America, Scandinavia, Asia and Europe and the other offers guided and self-guided cycling holidays across Europe and Asia.

Based in modern warehouse offices in central Hove and just moments from the beach, their specialists provide tailor-made holiday packages direct to the customer, combining their first-hand resort knowledge and passion for travel with excellent advice and award winning service. Their awards consist of UK’s Best Ski Tour Operator for the last five years (2014 – 2018) and feefo Gold Trusted Service award (2018).

About you

They are looking for a Tour Co-ordinator to join their Admin and Operations department. They’re a team of people who look after all aspects of a customer’s booking once it’s confirmed. You take over the booking and are the customer’s main point of contact from then on.

You’ll have excellent attention to detail and a careful, thorough approach to work. A good telephone manner is required as they spend a lot of time on the phone talking with their customers. You must be a good team worker and have strong time and diary management skills. A passion for skiing or snowboarding and for travel in general would be very advantageous!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and sending ATOL certificates and confirmation documents
  • Booking car hire, transfers and other ground arrangements
  • Advising on, selling and booking extras – lift passes, rentals, activities, etc.
  • Dealing with changes and updates to bookings
  • Managing flight bookings and flight schedule changes in the GDS system and with flight consolidators
  • Collating and sending out customer travel documents

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 9 am-5:30 pm, with occasional 10 am-6:30 pm weekday shifts and 10 am-4 pm Saturday shifts. Additional hours are sometimes necessary during the busy winter period
