Salary: £29,500 – £33,200 dependent on level of experience

Seeking a personable and talented professional to join our progressive HAYNE Cloud team, taking part with the day-to-day cloud operations and implementations within a small team, ensuring a professional and consistent approach to the service management of customer solutions.

Due to the broad skillset required to perform the role, there will be a formal development plan to bring the successful candidate up to the required level, but this does require a strong technical foundation to be built upon.

What will make you excel in the Role:

As the successful Data Support Analyst, you will have at least 3 years’ experience of working in a technical support function where you have been supporting Microsoft based solutions such as Windows and SQL Server. Any exposure to Cognos Planning Analytics (TM1) or Microsoft Azure data services such as Data Lake, Synapse, DataFactory and Power Platform would be highly advantageous.

The most important attribute is a strong desire to develop, an interest in resolving complex data issues and helping to maintain and develop new data processes for customers.

The Candidate:

  • Technical Support experience
  • Incident Management
  • Windows Server administration
  • Basic network troubleshooting
  • Familiar with Active Directory
  • SQL Server

Desirable experience and skillset:

  • Azure Data Services:
  • Power Automate / Logic Apps / Data Factory
  • Exposure to ITIL v4 service management
  • Cognos Analytics (BI) or Cognos Planning Analytics (TM1)
  • Microsoft Power BI
  • Experience working in a managed services environment
  • SQL Server SSIS Packages / Visual Studio
  • GDPR & Information Security awareness

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Providing 1st line support to customers and the business
  • Working with the cloud operations team to support data processes
  • Working with customers to support data processes
  • Perform routine operational checks of data processes; and escalating where necessary
  • Working with the team to ensure the security, stability and availability of customer data processes; this includes resource management and monitoring
  • Assist with maintaining documentation
  • Other duties and responsibilities as dictated by the Technical Manager
