Job Title: Deputy General Manager

The company operates three attractions in Hastings that are steeped in history dating back to 1066, including a popular seafront aquarium based in the historic Old Town of Hastings which transports visitors on an enchanting journey from the shorelines of Hastings to the tropical waters of the deep blue ocean.
About the Role:
Delivering outstanding customer service is a priority for all of their attractions and as such they love entertaining visitors with amazing presentations, events and daily talks that bring their attractions to life. As Deputy General Manager you will perform an integral role in ensuring they achieve their aims. You will be hands on in the daily operations, managing and motivating the team.
Supporting the GM you will drive the commercial performance of the attractions including maximising sales of the retail and catering operations.
This is a full time post which requires working 5 days per week and includes regular weekends, bank holidays and school holiday periods.
About You:
You are passionate about delivering great customer service, are versatile and flexible in your approach with a strong eye for detail. A previous supervisory role in leisure and tourism industry is desirable as this role presents a great opportunity to further your career development.
If you find it easy to communicate with team members and customers, good at juggling a number of priorities and enjoy no two days being the same then this could be the role for you.
It’s important that you possess good IT skills and are familiar with excel in particular.
