About the role

Key responsibilities

In collaboration with other members of the marketing team, you will:

  • Develop, create and manage email campaigns using the company CRM/CMS platform (HubSpot)
  • Help plan and distribute content that educates and engages their audience and supports marketing goals
  • Execute and improve the current SEO strategy, including keyword research, on-page optimization, link building and more
  • Update and manage the website and social media channels to increase social media visibility, web traffic and lead conversions
  • Use analytics and business intelligence software to monitor the performance of the website and social channels and make recommendations for improvement
  • Segment the database lists based on roles and behaviours such as email engagement and website interactions (content downloads, site page visits, etc.)
  • Assist with general database maintenance in the HubSpot CRM system
  • Help scope and create templates for the marketing team to be more efficient in their posting on social media, blogs, email, and other channels

Your typical week will include:

  • Designing and building email and blog campaigns using HubSpot, their CMS/CRM platform
  • Managing all aspects of the company website and maintaining a reliable online company voice through social media
  • Assisting with the planning of marketing strategies to help drive traffic to the website. Analysing activity and engagement to identify and quantify customer behaviour
  • Improving and widening the business’s SEO to improve organic search rankings
  • Producing content and monitoring social media channels such as LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.
  • Keeping up to date with inbound media trends and researching new products and channels
  • Researching new online media opportunities that may benefit the business including mobile, social media, development of blogs and forums
  • Assisting with the coordination and production of videos and webinars
  • Studying via HubSpot’s online training modules to gain inbound marketing certifications

About you

The skills and qualities that will be attractive

  • An intermediate or advanced CRM/CMS skillset, preferably with HubSpot or a similar marketing platform, is highly desirable
  • A strong knowledge of SEM (both SEO and SEA) and other paid acquisition channels, is a key skillset they’ll look for
  • Excellent copywriting, creative and analytical skills…and an eye for detail
  • You need to be a real team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A good sense of humour always helps too!
  • A sound knowledge of using social media platforms LinkedIn & Twitter is important as they use these every day
  • You should be keen to keep up to date with trends and developments across traditional and digital marketing
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect and analyse data to improve and adapt the marketing strategy
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are qualities you will need to demonstrate

Your education and experience

  • BA/BS degree in Digital Marketing is highly desirable
  • Knowledge and experience of marketing automation systems, website and CMS/CRM platforms such as HubSpot, SalesForce, WordPress, Marketo, etc.
  • Exceptional written and communication skills, and the confidence to interact with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent copywriting and analytical skills
  • InDesign / Illustrator / Photoshop experience desirable but not essential
