Job Title: Equity Partner Litigation Assistant

Location: Northenden, Manchester

Salary: £21,000 per annum

We cover every area of personal injury including public liability, occupier’s liability, road traffic accidents, employer’s liability, industrial disease, serious injuries, and clinical negligence matters. Additionally, we cover consumer litigation matters.

We are currently looking for a bright self-starter to work directly for the Managing Partner and Senior Partner (the Equity Partners) in this £35 million legal group.

The Role:

This special role is a stepping-stone towards ever greater things including a fast-track period of recognised training (Training Contract within 6 months of starting), subject to the application criteria and demonstrable success and commitment in the role.

We are looking for an individual with excellent academic records, ambition to learn and succeed, plus high levels of professionalism, resilience, and emotional intelligence.

Key Duties:

This is a newly created important business role within the Company and the duties will include, among others;

  • Assisting in the firm’s own litigation and commercial litigation
  • Legal research and executive support for the 2 Partners (NB both have their own Personal Assistants; this role is to provide further specialised support)
  • Producing and analysing reports from the firm’s case management system
  • Being involved in Board level meetings with other departments to support the Managing Partner and Senior Partner
  • Weekly reviews with supervisor

Usually this will be in tandem with relevant work experience, to show professionalism, a desire for litigation as well as strong commercial acumen.
