Job Title: Events Sales and Marketing Coordinator

Location: Ormskirk

Salary: £15,912.00 plus commissions

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (34 hours per week across 4 days)

The Company has an exciting opportunity for an Events Sales and Marketing Coordinator join their events team based near Ormskirk. They are looking for out-going, friendly events person to join their team.

Job Duties:

  • Proactively selling and promoting of events
  • Dedicated Wedding Coordinator for brides including event planning and event execution on the day
  • Meet and exceed all sales targets set by Head of Sales/Marketing
  • To work on all internal events overseeing as part of an operational team that standards are being delivered
  • To work closely with suppliers ensuring great relationships and best products received
  • To maintain and accurately keep updated all customer records held on internal systems
  • To efficiently respond to all customer enquiries in a polite and timely manner
  • To work alongside Head of Sales to provide weekly/monthly sales activity reports
  • To develop and deliver sales presentations to potential customers
  • Attend networking events to promote the events business where needed
  • To plan and organise the event delivery when required

Key Requirements:

  • Understanding of the Event Industry from sales or operational perspective
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas to people at all levels
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident User of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience of working in hospitality if possible
