Job Title: Executive Assistant

Location: Huddersfield

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Position: Full Time, Fixed term – 12 months (Maternity Cover)

The Company is the UK’s leading provider of bespoke end-to-end specialist vehicle recovery and incident management services. Founded in 1986, they have over 500 staff and currently operate out of a single site in Huddersfield.

The business has experienced significant levels of growth over recent years, and operates broadly across three sectors: Fleet Claims Solutions, Insurance Claims Solutions and Roadside Solutions. Clients include leasing providers, fleet insurers, motor insurers, blue chips, public sector organisations and police forces nationwide.

Following an all share merger in 21 February 2020, FMG is now part of a much larger group (in excess of £1 billion turnover and over 5,000 employees). Part of the Group’s core business lies in the hire of light commercial vehicles to businesses on a flexible and term basis. Whilst the other side of the Group, where this company sits, is a market leader in the provision of a range of accident management, incident management and legal services.

Job Role:

As Executive PA, you will play a key role in the organisation and administration of the executive board and, reporting to the CEO, responsibilities typically include a combination of administrative and managerial functions.

Typical administrative tasks will include email management, diary management and booking travel and accommodation. This role involves preparing and formatting information for internal and external distribution, extending but not limited to compiling data for reports, writing reports, creating presentations, proofreading and other information preparation duties for the board.

The Candidate:

A highly organised individual with discretion and confidentiality at their core, the Executive Assistant will be efficient and confident when using their own initiative.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years experience within a similar role and will be an EA with a professional and polished manner, able to build relationships with high profile individuals; confident with the ability to challenge at Operating Board/Director level.

As a motivated, proactive, adaptable and hardworking individual, you will competently prioritise your time and delegate when required. Excellent communication skills are fundamental to the role. You will be confident and professional, and discrete when dealing with confidential information. Computer literacy and attention to detail are essential. You will have a proven track record of providing support to a busy team and a flexible approach to your working hours is required.

It would also be beneficial if you were to have an understanding of the Fleet Industry and the company’s aims and objectives, although this is not essential
