Salary: FTE £22,000 to £30,000 DOE

If so the company has a fantastic opportunity for a Fraud Technical Lead to join their Motor Claims Team.

They are the UK’s leading independent provider of fleet and insurer incident management and specialist vehicle recovery services. Due to continued growth, they are now acting on behalf of a large European Insurer managing their motor claims from end to end and are seeking an ambitious and experienced technical expert, to help drive a team of handlers to success.

Job Role:

The Fraud Technical Lead will be responsible for overseeing the efficient identification, investigation and reporting of potential indemnity concerns and/or exaggerated or fraudulent RTA claims.

The role requires a full understanding of insurer clients underwriting criteria and policy wording, being able to validate cover on each policy.

You will contribute to improving the Company defence lines, limiting unnecessary litigation, making claims savings and raising awareness and sharing best practice.

You will ensure handlers are competent in the identification of indemnity issues and act as a technical referral point for any concerns.

You will have the ability to develop Fraud handlers’ skills and knowledge and will act as Team Leader managing performance and quality.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have significant experience of RTA personal injury claims, RTA claims fraud, credit hire fraud and policyholder indemnity. You will also;

  • Be organised and used to managing your own caseload.
  • Be proactive and have the ability to investigate claims whilst fully considering the economics.
  • Have a positive and inquisitive nature, along with a good attention to detail.
  • Have the skills to be able to interpret data, report on performance and manage suppliers/Intel sources.
  • Be motivated to increase awareness of motor claims fraud and assist in developing new fraud processes within the Company’s operational areas.
  • Have the ability to get the best out of your team members, through strong hands-on coaching and performance management, although previous team leader experience is not essential.
  • You’ll be responsible for seeking opportunities to attend seminars to develop your knowledge and also for creating managing your relationships with key stakeholders within the Fraud arena.
