Job Title: General Builder

LCC Restorations Limited is a niche and very active company which undertakes numerous projects each year. These consist primarily of the restoration of listed buildings/structures and monuments, buildings of significant architectural interest & building or structures within conservation areas.
The role: Our workload is ever increasing, and we are now seeking to employ an additional General Builder who has an excellent and broad knowledge of current and traditional construction methods.
If you are enthusiastic and willing, there is potential to learn new skills, such as; restoration techniques, specialist building cleaning methods, masoning, and construction related qualifications. Also, progression to foreman position.
Job Information:
- Daily start and finish times can vary depending on the job locations.
- Transportation to each job in one of our company vans is provided with travel time paid one way.
- You will be responsible for providing all your own hand tools. All power tools and plant will be provided.
- Working away or evening work may be required from time to time due to the nature and specialty of our contracts. All accommodation and subsistence will be provided.
- Competitive rates of pay, dependent on experience held.
- Upon the successful completion of a three-month probationary period, a full-time position will be offered with the usual benefits of holiday pay, training etc.
The Candidate:
- Experience on working with listed buildings. (Preferred)
- Knowledge or traditional and current build methods.
- Brick and stone laying experience.
- Use of lime based materials.
- Good understanding of construction.
- Valid Clean driving licence
- Valid CSCS Card
