Job Title: Trainer / IQA / Assessor

Location: Covering West Yorkshire

Salary: £20,000 – £25,000 dependent upon qualifications and experience

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

The Training Group is a dynamic, innovative UK Healthcare company that works in partnership with their Healthcare Group clients. They deliver both specialist and accredited training across the Country, this post is required for the West Yorkshire region with the opportunity to work further afield.

Job Purpose:

Working in your specified region you will be allocated a cohort of learners/delegates which you will manage the teaching and assessment of. You will be responsible for delivering a range of specialist and mandatory training, vocational qualifications and assessments within the Care Sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering both specialist and accredited training in your allocated region.
  • Delivering training in a variety of settings, including on site in nursing/care homes and in Head Office classroom environment.
  • Supporting learners through all areas of their qualifications
  • Effectively managing your own caseload to ensure all learners are seen regularly and achieve their qualification timely
  • Keeping detailed and accurate records of learner’s progress
  • Working closely with workplace managers to ensure the best progress for the learner
  • Responsible for upholding the values of the company in providing a service that meets the needs of clients, Funding partners, Awarding Bodies and local safeguarding boards and hold specific responsibilities and accountability for the following service objectives:

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have a full clean driving licence
  • Must have an enhanced DBS check
  • Must be accredited with A1/V1
  • Have a strong career background in care and/or nursing
