Job Title: Class 1 Driver / Logistics Operative with FLT Experience – 40 hours including Weekends

Hours: 40 hours over 4 days: Core hours are Saturday & Sunday (06:00-18:00) plus 2 weekday shifts (08:00-18:00), returning to base each evening.
The Company is based in Milton Park, Abingdon and is currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver with Warehouse experience and FLT license to join their team. The company prides itself on high quality service delivery; providing comprehensive and customised logistics solutions at all stages of the supply chain and are looking for candidates who are able to meet the same high standards.
This is an interesting and varied role that combines hands-on logistics work with Class 1 driving duties, working 40 hours over 4 days, core hours are Saturday and Sunday 6am-6pm plus 2 other days by arrangement (8am – 6pm). Duties include receiving and handling goods at the warehouse in Milton Park, checking and safely loading your vehicle, transporting goods to local customer sites and off-loading goods before returning to Milton Park.
Their logistics operation supports medical equipment production with a focus on quality and professionalism. The ideal candidate will have a clean Class 1 (C+E) licence and be an experienced forklift operator within a logistics or warehouse environment. Experience of operating an Indoor crane, checking and booking goods manually or using hand-held scanners would be beneficial.
Essential Requirements:
- A clean and valid UK Driving Licence with CE entitlement
- Up to date Driver CPC card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Forklift truck license (preferably counterbalance and reach)
- A desire to meet customer expectations
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
