About the role:
We are looking for an HGV & Plant Mechanic / Technician to join our thriving purpose built, well equipped workshop, and be part of a forward-thinking company that looks after their employees.
This a varied role working on vehicles, Plant and a specialist fleet.
Key Duties:
- Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards
- Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection
- Good housekeeping and H&S requirements
- Ensure all paperwork is completed
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Sound and current knowledge of heavy plant machinery maintenance, repairs with welding experience
- A customer-focused approach workload and committed team player
About you:
- Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician (Time served considered too)
- Full Cat 1 Driving license
- Proven experience working as a plant mechanic/fitter
- Experience of hydraulics and electrical systems an advantage but not essential
