Job Title: Home Care Support Worker

Location: Sidcup & Bexley Area

Salary: Up to £10.50 per hour

Job Type: Permanent, Full and Part Time

Award Winning Home Care Provider TLC Home Care Solutions is due to expansion looking to recruit quality caring experienced full or part time workers to join our fantastic team based in and around Sidcup and Bexley.

About the Role

Your role will be to assist our clients in everyday life, providing all aspects of support and companionship.

You’ll help our clients each day to fulfil their lives and support them in any way they may need.

Building relationships and acting as a companion is an extremely rewarding part of your role.

Key Duties:

  • Getting the client ready for their day (Which may require personal care)
  • Bathing or assisting with showering
  • Assisting with medications
  • Meal preparation – breakfast lunch or Supper
  • Assisting to get ready for bed
  • Social and leisure outings
  • Companionship support
  • Light domestic duties housework or shopping

About you:

You must have empathy, a can-do approach and excellent communication skills.

Above all, a real compassion for all our clients to deliver the highest standard of care and support.

This role is subject to special conditions:

  • An enhanced DBS
  • Mandatory Training
  • Full clean driving licence – Owner Driver preferrable
  • Possessing excellent communication skills
  • A good geographical knowledge of the local area (Sidcup / Bexley)
  • All support workers are provided with the relevant PPE and inducted in infection control as well as the correct use of PPE
  • You will also be required to undertake twice weekly COVID testing and be able to confirm vaccine status or willing to undertake a COVID Vaccine
