Job Title: Hygiene Operative

Salary: £10.00-£12.00 per hour
Job Type: Permanent, Full time
Hours: 5 days per week, including some Saturdays, 5am – 3pm, 45 hours

HG Walter Ltd is a growing family run business that manufactures, processes and supplies high quality meat and meat products to some of the most discerning restaurants, hotels and households in London, as well as its own retail shop.

The Role:
We are looking to add a Hygiene Operative to the team who will be required to undertake all aspects of cleaning the food manufacturing areas, equipment and machinery to meet food hygiene standards.
Duties will include:
- To work as part of a team to ensure that the highest standards of hygiene are maintained in all areas of the food manufacturing areas
- To follow all hygiene, food safety, quality, health and safety procedures at all times
- Following set work instructions and safety protocols
- Supporting the production and technical teams in ad hoc duties
The Candidate:
- Must have at least one year’s experience cleaning within an industrial setting. Understanding of food safety management, HACCP & COSHH preferable.
- Have a clear understanding of written and spoken English
