Job Title: Retail Sales Consultant

Mandarin Stone is a leading Importer of Natural Stone and Porcelain Products in the UK; we are a family run business that has grown into a very successful and reputable company within the industry. We have 13 showrooms across the UK and are currently recruiting for a Sales Consultant in our Bristol showroom.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, confident sales/customer focused individual with a good eye for design. Full training provided, great working environment.

The Role:

The main purpose of the role is to provide Customer Service and support for clients as they browse our extensive range of products within our showrooms, guiding them through the buying process right from the first visit through to advice on laying the tiles once delivered.

Duties include product advice, providing design ideas, raising quotations, dealing with telephone queries, problem solving, taking payment on orders, booking deliveries, providing technical advice, sales aftercare and much more.

About You:

We look for people that thrive on working in a customer focused environment and pride themselves on providing the highest level of customer service. The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated, have a good eye for design, well presented, computer literate with a good understanding of basic maths. No previous industry experience is necessary all we ask for is someone who ideally has experience working in a customer sales and service environment.

Due to nature of the business and the range of bespoke products available we’ve found candidates that have a keen eye for creative design, fashion, art and/ or kitchen design are well equipped in complementing our offering and enjoy engaging with customers.

We’re also keen to hear from candidates that have experience in property sales who are looking for a change in career as customers view the products as a home improvement and this could be well suited to candidates with experience in dealing with investment purchases.

Showroom opening hours are 9.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Saturdays. Full time working hours are 5.5 days; one week day off every other week, increasing to every week after qualifying service. We are closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays. Part-time hours will be a minimum of 3 days per week, including Saturday working.
