Job Title: Junior Internal Account Manager

Location: Newbury

Salary: Up to £25,000 depending on experience

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

The Company is a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) who is at the forefront in complete technology solutions for businesses across SMB, Hospitality and Education sectors throughout the UK.

Role Overview:

You’ll be managing an impressive list of the company’s clients, nurturing, converting and recognising potential opportunities to upsell whilst continuously providing the highest level of service.

It’s a junior role so initially you’ll be starting out small but as you grow in confidence and ability your account base will grow with you.

As you develop you’ll take on more and more duties around the accounts you deal with, eventually taking responsibility for all of the below:

  • Creating connections and meaningful relationships with your clients, which you can then build upon in order to explore new opportunities for upselling
  • Driving sales and maximising revenue using a consultative informed approach
  • Have the ability to convert opportunities and client interest into confirmed orders
  • To gain best supplier pricing, prepare and issue compelling quotes/proposals, to renew, to forecast all requirements on a daily, monthly, quarterly, yearly basis for each of your allocated clientele
  • Establish budgets with your clients, elevate their current requirements, future pipeline and needs on a regular basis and work with them to develop the account
  • To provide Market feedback, assess competitor’s pricing/activity in the marketplace and to analyse products and trends
  • Provide weekly forecasts/reporting on your client base to your CRM/Sales Manager and align accurate probability scale
  • Manage all your contracts, licenses, domain renewals etc. for your client base

The Candidate:

  • There’s no need for prior commercial experience however an interest in IT or IT Account Management and Sales would be highly beneficial
  • Strategic thinker who can spot, convert and close opportunities
  • An effective communicator with excellent presentation skills you must also be a resourceful team player who is calm under pressure.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience of delivering customer service at exceptional levels
  • Experience of working to and overachieving targets
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management skills
