Job Title: Learning Support Assistants

Location: Plumstead, South East London

Salary: £16,594 per annum (Actual gross salary)

Job Type: Part Time, Term time only (31 hours per week, 39 weeks)

Closing date: Noon, Tuesday 3rd March 2020

The Role:

They are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our Learning Support Team. You will contribute to the cultivation of a school ethos founded on success and harmony, promoting excellence and equality for all in a diverse community.

You will inspire and support out students who have additional needs to reach their potential, by collaborating with teaching staff to develop and plan differentiated learning materials for both small group learning and in class support. You will work across a range of subject areas.

Key Requirements:

  • Maths and English qualifications to Level 2 (GCSE Grade C or above)
  • A work related qualification
  • Experience of working with ‘K’ and ‘Q’ Students and those with EHCPS
  • Be committed to the school’s vision of success, harmony, excellence and justice for all young people irrespective of their ability or background
