The Role:
The Birmingham College of Food is currently looking for a skilled Lecturer in Cake Decorating. It is an exciting time to join the team and showcase your skills and talent. Recently we have opened our new shop Cakes and Bakes which operates 50 days a week and we are looking to enhance our bespoke products to the public, staff and students.
You will be teaching in our practical kitchens which have state of the art equipment to enable learners to achieve the most recent and current practices replicated in the industry. These fantastic facilities make for impressionable learning opportunities for our FE learners.
Candidate Requirements:
Essential requirements for this role include:
- Modern and classic skills in cake decoration (coating, piping and modelling)
- Knowledge of current trends in cake decorating and the ability to translate into current qualification requirements.
