Job Title: Manufacturing Technician
Location: Leatherhead, Surrey
Salary: Up to £22,000 + Excellent Benefits
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Job Role:
You will be working as part of small manufacturing team carrying out a range of general product support activities in the manufacture of precision equipment and devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plastic de-burring (use of scalpel)
- Blast and mask devices and instruments
- Clean devices (automated cleaning line)
- Visually check devices
- Dimensional check of devices to set specifications
- Complete and check inspection data and route cards
- Honing of devices
- Manual finishing and preparation of devices (polishing)
- Pack and handle devices
- Final or in-line inspection
- Load works orders
- Instrument loading
- Goods-in inspection of castings
The Candidate:
- Must have experience working on the factory floor within a manufacturing/assembly environment
- Good attention to detail with good hand/eye coordination
- Strong team ethics
- Ability and willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Basic computing skills
Desirable
- Mechanical engineering knowledge gained through school/college project or work experience
