The Company’s Brand positioning is ‘Styled by Life’ – versatile, beautiful and durable tableware and cookware designed for modern life. In recent years they have expanded into licensed tableware (Monsoon and James Martin), Glassware, Accessories and Cookshop products to offer the full tabletop solution. The Head Office is based in the village of Denby, Derbyshire close to the A38/M1 with subsidiaries in North America and South Korea. Their product is available widely through their retail partners, their own Retail stores, websites and a number of distributor websites.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all ‘cut out’ imagery including negotiating best price, managing shoots, samples & availability plus assisting with lifestyle photography
  • Managing the Digital Asset Bank (image library) along with Artwork and Print Manager to ensure all creative and item shots are available and providing log ins and support where required
  • Keeping the company Product Database (currently Excel based) up to date with information provided by a number of functional stakeholders around the business and managing the ‘Product Notifications’ data
  • Collating quarterly report of PR coverage Supporting Brand & PR Teams by: Updating/developing market / competitor mapping including market intelligence on new products, price changes and retailer initiatives through online and store visits
  • Running ad-hoc sales/stock/forecast reports from our reporting system
  • Assisting in annual brand planning process / preparation of marketing materials for key trade and consumer shows / supporting brand and retail events as necessary
  • Printing and distributing fortnightly project deck for discussion at Exec meeting
  • Raising of purchase orders and processing of invoices plus keeping budget tracker up to date
  • Liaising with PR and media agency on requests, information, events, competitions
  • Supporting PR manager with requests for product information, TV contacts for product placement, local and trade PR, sending brochures to PR contact lists
  • Assisting on the creation of product and brand content for digital platforms
  • Requesting product codes for new product launches
  • General day-to-day support for Brand Team and ad-hoc support for trade marketing team

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • At least 12 months experience working with a consumer facing business
  • Educated to A level (or equivalent) or above
  • Some marketing / brand experience or office administrative experience in relevant sector
  • A driving licence as some travel may be involved
  • Can-do approach and a willingness to get involved in all tasks big and small
  • Good analytical & commercial acumen
  • Proficient IT skills, particularly in Word, Excel and PowerPoint with ability to understand (with training where required) other bits of simple software (e.g. Digital Asset Bank)
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Good organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at one time Self-motivator / demonstrates initiative
  • A team player with the ability to work across functions and influence / liaise as required
  • Good creative and problem-solving skills
  • The desire to go the extra mile
  • An understanding of the importance of consumer and customer / stakeholder relations
  • Flexible approach to work, as ad-hoc requirements with short lead times are frequent
