Job Title: Marketing Assistant
Location: Shefford, Bedfordshire
Salary: £20,000 plus bonus scheme
Job type: Full-time – Monday-Thursday 08.30am – 5pm and Friday 08.00am – 4pm

We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join us at our head office in Shefford, Bedfordshire, where you will report directly to the Marketing Manager and will be responsible for promoting both companies within R.A.R. Group Holdings (RARUK Automation & R.A. Rodriguez UK Ltd), and their brand’s products and services.
The Marketing Assistant Role:
Working with the Marketing Manager, the role will cover the below specific responsibilities:
- Help to create copy for company and industry blogs and assist with e-communications
- Assist with writing and dispatching email marketing campaigns
- Building and maintaining both company’s brand’s presence across multiple social media channels by posting regular content and responding to comments and messages
- Manage social media engagement
- Assist with integrating content marketing strategies
- Communicating with suppliers, and external agencies
- Assist the Marketing Manager with the preparation of industry events, conferences and trade shows
- Create video content for social media and other marketing activities
- Design marketing materials such as graphics, leaflets and liaise with production agencies for printed materials
- Coordinate company brochure updates and production of new material when necessary
About you:
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent. 5 GCSEs including English and Maths is essential.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Copywriting and proof-reading skills
- Good eye for photography and videography an in interest in developing video editing skills
- Excellent understanding of marketing concepts and best practices
- Some knowledge or experience of using professional image editing and design software desirable, e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud
- Good understanding of data analysis and statistics methods
