Salary: £37,000 to £44,000pa, based on skills, experience and qualifications

Here’s What You Can Expect To Be Doing:

As the Operational Excellence Manager, you would be responsible for the implementation of processes, systems and cost efficiency programs as well as promoting a continuous improvement culture. You are a hands on, professional and eager to support the team in their daily challenges and enjoy working strategically, supporting the site masterplan development.

This is a role for a person with a strong focus on manufacturing and supply chain. The role covers a broad range of business activities and gives the opportunity to have a positive impact.

You will be:

  • Managing the site with their 30-60-90-180 day Lean implementation plan
  • Creating and Implementing Industrial Engineering Standards
  • Implementing Line balancing and manufacturing flow projects
  • Establishing current and future state layouts
  • Establishing DMAIC, 6S, RCA, FMEA, Project PMO (Project management office) documents.
  • Supporting with the “Synnovia/ Flexipol Business Operating system” training, implementation, and assessment process.
  • Managing the site with “level 1 & 2” cross functional team “Safety, Quality, Delivery, 6S and Cost” leading indicator coaching.
  • Recording and forecasting the “Hard and Soft” cost savings
  • Managing projects

Your experience will include:

  • Experience in implementing and executing Improvements and Projects
  • Minimum Green belt Six Sigma
  • Having worked in a similar role in manufacturing or supply chain
  • Educated to Degree level (desirable)
  • Excellent IT skills, proficient with all Microsoft Office applications

When You’ll Be Working:

You will be working a 40 hour week between Monday to Friday with the hours to be agreed.
