Job Title: Operations Administrator

Location: London

Salary: £25,000-£30,000

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

The Role:

  • We are looking for an enthusiastic Operations Administrator to join our growing company. Full training on company services and systems will be provided on induction.
  • You will be part of a busy and vibrant team that is responsible for scheduling and planning various engineers for our clients predominantly throughout London and the South East.
  • While the initial focus will be on the tasks and responsibilities in ‘Operations’, the successful candidate will gradually be developed to be competent in carrying out other business critical tasks including but not limited to those in ‘Operations’.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Supporting all members of the operations team where required
  • Scheduling services – responding to date requests as required
  • Ordering – including materials, uniform, and equipment
  • Generating quotations for different services
  • Engineer helpdesk duties
  • Stock control and visiting off site stores
  • Assisting in new employee inductions and documentation
  • Managing purchase orders
  • Submitting work permits and other associated documents
  • Liaise with sales team for job information and inform relevant parties
  • Creating client reports/ logbooks
  • Booking of courses
  • Updating various spreadsheets using excel
  • Supporting the finance team where required
  • Postal duties
  • General Admin duties

The Candidate:

  • Experience within a similar role.
  • Have a systematic/logical approach to tasks & problems
  • Ensure all tasks are carried out quickly & efficiently
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Have a polite but assertive telephone manor
  • Good knowledge of London and the home counties postcodes
  • Good customer service skills
  • The ability to think laterally and “out of the box”
  • Prompt and consistent time keeping
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (primarily Word and Excel).
  • Keen desire to develop and build a career in a company that rewards and develops employees.
