Job Title: Procurement Executive

Location: Yiewsley, West Drayton

Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00 or 09:00 – 17:30)

Key Duties:

  • Primary focus to decrease costs and improve service
  • Ensuring parts requisitions are processed within a timely manner
  • Speaking to suppliers negotiating and obtaining best pricing
  • Logging/Monitoring calls with sub-contractors to ensure calls are actioned/completed within SLAs
  • Ensure all subcontract information is valid and up to date
  • Raising Purchase Orders/Sales Orders at agreed bid prices where appropriate
  • Booking in of Purchase Orders (after obtaining proof of delivery)
  • Invoice query resolution
  • Arranging RMAs
  • Ensuring parts requisitions are processed within a timely manner
  • Arranging deliveries/collections as required, ensuring best price/timings
  • Liaison with Customer Service/Field Services/Logistics/Workshop and other internal. teams on progress and resolution of each Service Order Job
  • Maintenance of Sub-Contract database including all equipment under contract with 3rd parties
  • Reviewing of “external engineer ‘ to ensure the date given to Customers for visits is achieved/updated as per predetermined SLA
  • Negotiation with Sub-Contractors to obtain quotes and service client requirements within SLA
  • Work closely with all internal teams to achieve total customer satisfaction
  • Supporting all operational team with administrative duties and tasks when required
  • Reporting updates on client owned stock
  • Supporting Procurement Supervisor where necessary

About you:

Essential Skills

  • Previous Purchasing/Supplier liaison experience essential
  • T. Hardware knowledge ideally at component level
  • Able to communicate well at all levels
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Able to work on your own initiative, as well as be a good team player
  • Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
  • Intermediate/Advanced MS Office skills
