Job Title: Quality Inspector

Salary: Up to £10 per hour

Location: Fordingbridge, Hampshire

Purpose of the Role:

This role is an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen interest in technology. The successful candidate we are looking for could either be an experienced Quality Inspector looking for a new challenge or someone with a technical background who is interested in taking on a career in technology and quality.

We are an international company looking for creative, driven and innovative individuals to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to drive improvements in quality by ensuring products are delivered to spec with areas of non-conformance being identified.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To maintain QA standards and procedures in accordance with the Company’s Quality Policy
  • To ensure Goods In, First Offs, Inline and Final inspections are carried out
  • Ensure your inspection work is completed within the expected time frames
  • Ensure that Production Supervisors are aware of any production errors found
  • Inform the Quality Manager of any major production errors found so they can take appropriate action
  • When required, support other areas of the business when and where the need arises as directed by the Quality Manager

The ideal Candidate will have/ be:

  • Have the ability to work both in a team environment and individually
  • Have a good understanding of IPC-A-610/J-STD-001 inspection/workmanship standards
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Have good hand-eye co-ordination and the ability to work with small components accurately
  • Willing to undertake any training relevant to the role
  • Logical and methodical in their approach with a high attention to detail
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal with a good understanding of written English
