Job Title: Service Call Desk / Reception Administrator

Location: Dartford

Salary: £17,000

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: (Monday to Friday) 40 hours per week

The company is a successful privately owned independent lift company providing maintenance and modernisation solutions to a variety of customers. They are currently looking for a Service Call Desk / Receptionist to ensure effective customer service delivery across their national contracts and maintain their good reputation as a leading independent lift service and maintenance provider

The Role:

You will be based in their Service Department and will join a team of three, taking full ownership of all incoming calls and dealing with them as priority whilst providing efficient and accurate administrative support for the business.

You will be the first point of contact for clients reporting lift faults and assisting in an efficient, effective and friendly manner, along with distributing all incoming calls to the relevant staff members within the Company.

It will be the Call Desk / Receptionist that ensures that all lift breakdowns are logged onto the service database ready for the Service Area Team Assistants and the Branches to allocate jobs to their team of field engineers. You will assist with data entry tasks such as timesheet entry. As part of the reception team you will alternate and assist in reconciling and maintaining stationary stock levels, placing order with stationary providers, deal with incoming and outgoing post for Dartford head office. You will assist with general administration tasks as necessary for the service area teams as delegated by the Customer Service Manager.

Essential requirements:

  • A-C grade GCSE’s (or equivalent) in core subjects with a high standard of Literacy and numeric skills
  • A good standard of providing administration support
  • Experience / knowledge of using a database.
  • A dependable individual who is flexible and adaptable approach towards work to meet deadlines.

Please be aware; due to the immediate start of this role, our client will not be providing any relocation packages or sponsorship for this role. Therefore you must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
