A fantastic opportunity has arisen for Regional Commercial Manager to join the team and provide first class customer service to new and existing Commercial customers, support the domestic brand and maintain a professional, consistent approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver/support on all company objectives to include area sales targets, national sales/profit targets whilst maintaining company values and ethics.
  • Ensure a best practice approach is deployed for price management to ensure gross margins are maximized and company profit targets are achieved
  • Adhere to the company expenses guidelines and ensure a reasonable approach to controlling area operating costs
  • Ensure expense claims are presented accurately and within one week of the credit card statement
  • Inform, support and work on a collaborative basis with the Domestic Team and the Commercial Water Testing team to ensure maximum penetration/cooperation in all areas of operation
  • Support the mobile display van with activities to maximize its effective use
  • Work closely with the Commercial Product management team to ensure any product opportunities are maximised and explored
  • Support the training team with activities and lead generation to ensure an effective team approach
  • Generate budget quotes in cooperation with the internal sales team
  • Develop a project pipeline for your area in cooperation with the internal sales team
  • Contribute to and support a national project pipeline to ensure effective sales forecasting and business growth
  • Contribute to the overall sales forecasting process
  • Present case studies and any appropriate business opportunities to the marketing team
  • Deliver and support the CPD program in your postcode responsibility
  • Be responsible for National Merchants and distributor accounts within the postcode area
  • Be responsible for distributors, merchants key contractors, specifiers, utilities companies, facilities management companies.
  • Achieving the required Area Sales Growth Target as set by the business.
  • Generating the required level of incremental commercial filter and chemical specifications.
  • Devising and implementing a robust area sales plan
  • Demonstrate detailed technical knowledge of all products to sell their true value
  • Work as a team with all sales staff to create and protect specifications, projects and opportunities
  • Contributing fully towards the relevant national sales team through concise reporting and effective communication
  • Delivering presentations and CPDs to new and prospective customers
  • Record all meeting Objectives/ Outcomes and keep all Customer details up to date via CRM
  • Attend company and customer events; it is possible some evening and weekend work may be required.
  • Attend all required National and Regional Sales Meetings and Teleconferences.
