Job Title: Registered Manager

Location: Bath

Salary: £30,000 per year.

Job type: Permanent, Full time.

The Role:

We are a residential care provider with services located in Wells, Bristol, Weston-Super-Mare and Cheddar, renowned for providing high levels of care and support for adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. We have an exciting opportunity to become a Registered Manager for a service on our Farm site in Wells.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • To work alongside the Locality Manager to ensure the day to day running of the service.
  • Investigate complaints, report to the Locality Manager, and take appropriate action.
  • Liaise and co-operate with the Senior Leadership team in any required inspections such as Local Authority and CQC.
  • Strive to ensure that your service is running at a “Good” or above CQC rating.
  • Complete care plans, risk assessments, MCA/Best interests’ assessments to a high standard.
  • Take part in the “On Call” rota as required.
  • To take full responsibility in ensuring that DoLS authorisations are in date and reviewed as necessary.
  • To ensure that legislation and regulations concerning environmental health, infection control, building control, planning and health and safety are complied with and to advise the Locality Manager, accordingly where action is required.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Have a Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care.
  • Hold a valid driving licence.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Team Leader/Deputy role or 1 years’ experience in a Registered Manager post.
  • Be able to take charge of challenging situations in a calm and effective manner.
  • Be able to prioritise workloads and keep to deadlines.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding surrounding the Mental Capacity Act and DoLs.
