Job Title: Research and Development Technician

Location: Hollins Green, Warrington WA3 6LJ

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (8:30 – 5:30 Monday to Friday)

They are a Motability partner with over 35 years’ experience in the manufacturing and installation of Vehicle Adaptations and are one of the leading companies in this field. They predominantly carry out adaptions and manufacture products for disabled drivers and passengers.

Due to continued growth they are looking to recruit a Research and Development Technician who will based at their workshop in Hollins Green.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and develop new and existing products
  • Take all products from design and manufacture to completion
  • Produce standards and fitting instructions for all the products
  • Making and designing dedicated kits for their adaptations already in production
  • Produce full fitting instructions

Key Requirements:

  • Background in engineering with mechanical, fabrication and electrical experience
  • Able to manage day to day running of the R&D projects
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills, both internally and externally with suppliers and their agents
