Job Title: Residential Support Worker
Location: Ashby Road, Burton on Trent, Staffordshire, DE15 0LB
Salary: £16,633.50 to £18,973.50 pa dependent on qualifications and experience
Hours: Full Time, Permanent
This company is a residential setting for young adults with complex difficulties and challenges.
They want all their residents to thrive, gain confidence and have real life experiences, we therefore provide life skill targets set for their own ability, likes and dislikes. The building is made up of 10 bedrooms split over three floors of a large Victorian House, and is located in Burton-on-Trent, a short walk away from shopping & leisure facilities.

The Role of a Residential Support Worker
You will support the residents within the home, supporting and teaching life skills such as cooking or cleaning.
You will plan and carry out a range of activities to suit the interests of the people you care for, this could mean long walks in the countryside, pottery or even swimming! We expect all staff to be proactive and forward planning in this area to ensure the residents have access to a wide range of hobbies and day trips.
The position also involves supporting with personal care including toileting, bathing and showering.
