Job Title: Residential Support Worker

Location: Duffield, Derbyshire, DE56 4AQ

Salary: £17,628.00 – £19,558.50 pa dependent on qualifications and experience

Hours: Full Time, Permanent

Ecclesbourne Lodge is an ideal home for people with complex difficulties and challenges that require specialised ‘person centred’ support in a caring yet productive environment. Residents are able to learn practical life skills and take part in a range of community and home based activities, enabling their progress towards a more independent life.

About the role:

As a Support Worker at Ecclesbourne Lodge you will work alongside the best in their field and give quality care and guidance to the residents.

Once you have the experience as a Support Worker Ecclesbourne Lodge can provide genuine opportunities for progression. We want to support you to reach your full potential as a social care professional.

Training in key areas such as, First Aid, Safeguarding and Non-Abusive Physical and Psychological Intervention is all provided as part of the role.

You will support the residents in their home and out in the community. This means no day is ever the same. Our Support Workers have supported residents to go indoor rock climbing, llama trekking, swimming and even a trip to Disneyland!

As a Support Worker you will experience challenging behaviour, but we will provided you will the appropriate training and a series of shadow shifts so you can be confident in your ability to handle these situations safely. Our friendly team will also always be on hand for advice!

This position involves delivering personal care, including toileting and bathing.

    • 7:30 to 3pm
    • 2:30 to 10:00pm

Desirable

  • NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care
  • Experience in a similar setting
