Job Title: Sales Consultants

Location: Hove, East Sussex

Salary: £20,000 – £24,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Job type: Full-time, Permanent

The Company is one of the UK’s leading independent specialist tour operators, in business since 1996. They have two successful and growing brands – one specialises in tailor-made ski holidays to North America, Scandinavia, Asia and Europe and the other offers guided and self-guided cycling holidays across Europe and Asia.

Based in modern warehouse offices in central Hove and just moments from the beach, their specialists provide tailor-made holiday packages direct to the customer, combining their first-hand resort knowledge and passion for travel with excellent advice and award winning service. Their awards consist of UK’s Best Ski Tour Operator for the last five years (2014 – 2018) and feefo Gold Trusted Service award (2018).

Key Responsibilities:

They are looking for experienced and dynamic sales consultants to join their established and expanding teams, selling ski or cycling holidays and making a real contribution to the business.

Working towards set sales targets, you will be talking to customers on the phone, by e-mail and on live chat to establish their holiday requirements. You’ll then put together suggestions based on your knowledge of their programme and prepare tailored, informative quotations for the customer, before following up to answer any questions and secure the booking.

Once confirmed, you’ll help to look after all aspects of the booking, including preparing documents, answering pre-departure questions and liaising with suppliers.

You will also be involved in keeping their website up to date, maintaining excellent supplier relationships and contributing to marketing output.

Key Requirements:

  • Sales experience
  • Passionate about travel
  • Good general knowledge of the travel industry
  • Be well travelled
  • Excellent telephone manner and written communication skills
  • Track record of delivering the highest levels of customer service
  • Attention to detail
  • Highly motivated and positive attitude
  • Incredibly organised and have an excellent eye for detail
  • Above all else, a willingness to learn about new products
  • First-hand knowledge of some (or all!) of the destinations they feature in their programmes (A distinct advantage)

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 9 am-5:30 pm, with occasional 10 am-6:30 pm weekday late shifts and 10 am-4 pm Saturday shifts
