Job Title: Sales & Contracts Manager / Plant & Machinery Movement

King Lifting is a recognised provider of crane hire to the construction industry and plant, machinery movement solutions from depots across the UK. We are a family owned business and proud of our name and success within our industry.

Introduction:

King Lifting provide safe, practical and efficient solutions for plant and machinery movements. Our team consists of experienced, skilled and qualified people, utilising our own specialised handling equipment, including Versa Lifts, Fork Lifts, Compact Cranes, Power Lift Gantry Systems, Mobile Cranes and Transport. Services may include: electrical and mechanical plant and machinery installations, assembly and protective covering, industrial dismantling, transport, storage, contract lifting and machine factory relocations.

The Sales & Contract Manager will be responsible for surveying projects around London and the South East, negotiating sales contracts as well as producing method statements, lift plans and risk assessments.

You will be responsible for overseeing the commercial chain throughout the contract and ensuring King Lifting’s debt exposure risk remains minimal.

There will be an expectation to provide outstanding levels of service to our existing and prospective customers as well as actively seeking new opportunities for future sales.

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Planning and/or delivering solutions to plant and machinery movement projects
  • Operational understanding of lifting equipment, cranes and transport.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills allowing you to communicate with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
  • Sound commercial awareness and judgement and ability to prioritise according to the demands of this busy role.
  • Proven sales record.

This role is based out of our West Drayton or Gravesend depot with the opportunity to work remotely. Reporting to the Area Manager on a day to day basis however you will be expected to manage your own work load effectively.
