Job Title: Advertising & Exhibition Sales Executive

Location: Essex, Saffron Walden, CB10 1PF

Salary: £45k OTE (Basic Salary £32k + up to £13k from a realistic bonus scheme) + Benefits

The Company:

Established in 1918, the QMJ Group is the market leading B2B Publisher and Exhibition Organizer for the quarrying, recycling and natural stone industries. It also owns the foremost Market Intelligence Consultancy for the sector, BDS Marketing Research.

The QMJ Group are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced B2B Advertising Salesperson with a consultative approach to build and nurture long term relationships with clients. This is a varied role selling across multiple platforms including digital and print advertising, sponsorship and trade events.

The role:

You will be expected to generate revenue from a combination of new business development and account management.

Whilst you will be predominantly office based you will be also be required to attend exhibitions relevant to your portfolio. This may require overnight stays and occasional international travel.

About you:

The ideal candidate will have at least two years media sales experience, be self-motivated and well organised. Some event sales experience would be useful, although not essential as full training will be provided.

It continues to flourish 40 years after its inception. This role will include developing the Hillhead brand

  • Working hours are 9am to 5pm with an hour for lunch, although the candidate will be expected to be flexible when the need arises.
  • Part time would be considered for the right candidate
  • Office based and just 3 minutes from Junction 9a of the M11, opposite Great Chesterford train station (on the Cambridge to London line).
  • 25 days holidays per annum plus bank holidays.

  • Mileage is remunerated at 45p per mile.
