Job Title: Sales Executive

Location: Basildon (This role requires travel for customer visits)

Salary: circa £26,000 per annum + Company Bonus after 1 year

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (40 – 45 hours per week)

The Company is a growing organisation within the RF & Microwave industry. Their top clients include MOD, Network Rail, Balfour Beatty, DSTL, Thales, BAE Systems. They are currently looking to resource immediately available candidates for a permanent Sales & Marketing Executive.

Responsibilities:

  • Call, Quote and process all enquiries through to sales order
  • Meet, daily, weekly and monthly call targets
  • Assist with regular monthly reports on sales progress, to include all areas; leads, bid to win, call campaign results, sales results, and major opportunities
  • Work with Administration manager to ensure areas administration function; operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible
  • Liaise with commercial/marketing for supplier pricing and product details
  • Liaise with internal technical lead to support the team and customer requests
  • Collate industry knowledge to be able to advise management on maximising business relationships
  • Support trade shows and exhibitions
  • Support external demonstrations for client base if requested
  • Continuously improve administration processes and accuracy throughout
  • Complete targeted call campaigns
  • Call list for sales
  • KPI report
  • Monitor reports from company systems
  • To help develop telesales strategy and processes to maximise success
  • Support to marketing

The Candidate:

The Company is seeking a candidate with previous experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate needs strong experience of customer liaison, business skills and a sound knowledge of the sales process, have strong IT skills, including word processing and data handling. A professional, confident, polite telephone manner and excellent communication and listening skills are essential.

You will also have excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and plan effectively.
