Job Title: Sales Executive (Education Sector)

Salary: £27,000 + excellent uncapped commission rates – Expected to earn c £50,000

The role:

This is a great time to join our growing sales team within Keynote to deliver outstanding sales activity across the secondary education sector. Your role has 3 main areas of responsibility including KPI goals and activity levels, excellent selling and achieving your sales targets to contribute to the overall team target.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Senior leader and teacher sales interaction via phone, email, and online engagement activity. This includes contacting generated warm leads and new leads
  • Utilising our prospective customised CRM platform to maintain detailed teacher activity and notes for each prospective teacher in order to deliver a highly engaging, informative, relevant and valuable sales management service
  • Using activity reports to monitor and drive personal performance in line with pre-determined sales KPIs and targets
  • Talking with key decision-makers and teachers to understand their challenges and priorities and articulating how the company’s CPD provision can support them. This can include working with teachers to tailor sessions to suit their priorities, as well as providing quote options for successful outcomes
  • Participating in developing new and innovative ideas for campaigns
  • Contributing to a high-performance culture by working flexibly and collaboratively with other members of the team.

The Candidate:

We are looking for a motivated consultative sales professional with B2C experience in a sales environment, who is able to demonstrate success with short and longer-term sales cycles. (On your CV you should clearly demonstrate your experience achieving sales targets and details of your performance). You will be required to achieve sales targets, therefore you will be able to demonstrate your ability to work to targets and using KPI’s successfully. It’s important to have knowledge of the UK Secondary Education sector and you’ll ideally be educated to Degree level or have equivalent professional experience.

You’ll have excellent communication (written and oral) skills, along with the ability to build excellent relationships through influencing activity within your sales pipeline with other key stakeholders in Keynote such as marketing. You’ll be an expert in building relationships with current and with new customers across schools, colleges, MATS, Alliances, Trusts including key decision-makers. As you’ll be nurturing a sales pipeline of new and prospective education professionals, it’s helpful to be empathetic, understanding and creative in your approach.
