Job Title: Sales Office Administrator

Location: Peterlee, County Durham

Salary: £18,000 – £20,000 per annum

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent, 37 hours per week (08.30 – 17.00 Monday to Thursday and 08.30 – 13.30 Friday)

The Company is a world class dynamic company with a global reputation for excellence in the manufacture of large diameter anti-friction bearings.

They are looking for a Sales Office Administrator for their busy sales office, based in Peterlee.

Job Duties:

To provide the sales team with an important link between themselves and customers, including:

  • Log and expedite enquiries
  • Entering sales orders
  • Log lost orders
  • Order placements and confirmations
  • Unfilled order report
  • Customer surveys
  • Generate order and sales forecasts
  • Produce reports
  • Arrange appointments
  • Power Point presentations
  • Good telephone manner
  • Checking stock issues
  • Ensure response times are met within agreed timescales
  • Deal with customers via email and telephone
  • Typing of visit reports
  • Log prices for Peterlee and German product
  • Travel bookings, hotel, flights, car hire, taxi when required

Key Requirements:

Essential

  • Excellent IT in excel, word and power point
  • GCSE or equivalent Grade C (9 – 4) in English and Maths
  • Business Administration Level III or equivalent

Desirable

  • SAP knowledge
  • Ideally you will have worked for a manufacturer, engineering or mechanical company
  • Previous experience in a similar role
