Job Title: Sales Team Leader

Purpose of the Role:
- Identify, develop and win sales opportunities to drive company growth
Main Duties:
- Identify, contact and qualify new sales prospects
- Carry out sales visits to prospective customers
- Help customers define their technical requirements and identify suitable Company products
- Support customers in developing custom requirements where necessary
- Generate quotations and proposals
- Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs
- Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education
- Bring sales enquiries to successful conclusions in line with company targets
- Maintain regular contact with and support existing customers
- Manage and grow the company’s sales and distribution channels
- Help organise and attend trade shows, webinars and other industry events
- Provide technical support and product training to customers
- Provide feedback on markets and products to the rest of the company
- Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times
- Regularly report on sales activity to the Sales and Marketing Manager and other colleagues
- Provide back-up and assistance to the Sales and Marketing Manager
- Carry out any other general duties, commensurate with the nature of the role, that may be required from time to time
The successful Candidate will have/be:
- Positive, ambitious and determined attitude
- Experience of business to business sales in a technical field
- Experience of, or interest in, team management
- Business and commercial awareness
- Technical electronics background preferred
- Negotiation skills
- Professional manner, both face to face and via telephone and email
- Self-motivated, reliable and able to work unsupervised
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Good numerical and general computer skills – Microsoft Office, etc.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks when required
- Full driving licence
