Job Title: Senior Property Manager – Mayfair

Location: Mayfair

Salary: £35,000 -£45,000 Subject to portfolio experience

Job Type: Full Time – Permanent, Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.30pm

Burlington Estates our specialist Block Management business is looking to add to their team. This is a senior property manager position so must be able to demonstrate experience of managing residential and/or mixed use developments, for RMC and developers and have excellent knowledge and experience of landlord and tenant legislation compliance with proven experience of complex major works projects.

About the role:

As a Senior Property Manager you will be responsible for your own portfolio of residential and mixed use developments and assist with management of the wider team. You will report to the office team leader.

Burlington Estates can offer support for RICS and IRPM qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To have excellent knowledge of the ARMA practice standards, RICS Service Charge Management Code.
  • To have excellent communication skills both written and verbal to provide good customer service.
  • To have experience in managing a small team.
  • To have excellent time management skills.
  • To have to ability to maintain files and other ad hoc tasks to ensuring smooth running of the department.

Property Management

  • To have excellent knowledge and experience for service charge budget setting and assisting service charge accountants with year-end accounts.
  • To be able to effectively manage reactive and preventative maintenance works.
  • To an excellent understanding compliance across your portfolio for all aspects of health and safety.
  • To be able to effectively manage insurance renewals and claims.
  • To have experience in dealing with AGMs and Directors meetings.
  • To be able to undertake regular inspections of developments.
  • To have experience in supervising of site staff and contractors.
  • To have a good understanding of Companies House requirements.
  • To have a strong understanding for property management and financial software.

Legal

  • To have excellent knowledge of landlord and tenant legislation.
  • To demonstrate experience and knowledge of Section 20 process and major works projects.
  • To demonstrate an understanding of legal service charge requirements.
  • To demonstrate experience and knowledge of licence to alter process.
  • To demonstrate experience and knowledge of legal processes which affect the freeholder.
  • To be able to manage leasehold sales enquiries and tasks associated with property transfers and sub-letting.

Requirements & Skills:

  • 3-5 years
  • Qualifications – MRICS/MIRPM preferable
