We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to add to our team of Engineers based in the centre of Nottingham, 5 minutes from the Railway Station, with car parking available.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Very varied and rewarding post suitable for someone that wants to be doing something different every day
- Ongoing development of the existing software and R&D into new methods and applications for the software
- Development of software and firmware control for new machines designed by our Mechanical R&D department
- All projects are seen through from initial concept, development, roll out and support
- Many of the machines we manufacture include a camera, and there will be scope for the application of image recognition techniques to identify parts and part orientation
- Investigating software related issues reported by customers
Key Requirements:
- At least 3 years experience
- Multi-skilled
- Proficient in MS Visual C# 2017 and above
- Experience of working with visual studio
- Experience with C++ would also be an advantage
- Experience with MYSql, MSql, PHP, JQuery, JavaScript would also be an advantage
The role is primarily software development, but can be expanded dependant on the candidate’s experience.
