Job Title: Software Development Manager

Remuneration: Up to 70,000 GBP + Bonus

The Role:
The Manager of Software Development is a key role in the organization, reporting to the Managing Director, the candidate will lead a team of local and remote software developers to deliver software improvements and releases to our global customer base.
Details of the Role:
- Overview the development team’s progress in all areas of the software development
- Mentor and manage a team of ~10 developers (some remote)
- Lead on with Agile Development process (Training on Agile provided)
- Develop user stories in conjunction with the product manager
- Provide Technical guidance with regards to coding standards and documentation
Skills & Experience required:
- Degree Qualified – Computer Sciences preferred
- Significant Software Development experience (Coding) on Technical Applications
- C++/Python skills
- Experience managing a small team of developers
- Strong interpersonal skills – able to interface well with Management and Developers alike
Desirable skills:
- Practical knowledge/experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience working with remote teams
- Experience with Simulation, CAE or CAD generation
