Job Title: Support Worker

Salary: £17,842.50 – £20,280.00 per annum
Hours: Full Time, Permanent

As a Support Worker at Pegasus School you will work alongside the best in their field and give excellent care and guidance to the young people at our residential school.
About us:
Pegasus School is an independent specialist day and residential school for young people aged 8 to 19 years with severe learning disabilities, autism and associated challenging behaviour. Many of our students also have mental health and therapy needs.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting within the home, community, and school setting
- Delivering personal care – including support with toileting and bathing
- Administering medication (once you have received the necessary training)
- Promoting independence
- Planning and taking part in a range of activities
About you:
Essential Skills
- Excellent communication
- Flexible and hardworking
- Confident team player
- Kind and caring
- Driving Licence
- Experience in the care or support of another
- A willingness to deliver personal care, including toileting and bathing.
Desirable Skills
- Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People (Ask about our £1500 bonus for Care Assistants who join us with this qualification!)
- Experience in a similar setting
