Job Title: Systems Support Engineer – Levels 1 & 2

Salary: £23,000 per annum plus £1,250 & substantial benefits

They work with their customers, many of which are the top blue chip food companies, to provide unique enzyme solutions that will help them solve process problems, valorise waste, facilitate a biochemical reaction or deliver competitive advantage through using a unique product.
Role Overview:
Due to their on-going commitment to expanding their product portfolio which is central to accelerating their growth, they have an opportunity for a Systems Support Engineer – Levels 1 & 2 who will have an integral role in providing effective IT assistance across all aspects of the business and support to the IT Manager.
Job Duties:
- Resolve 1st and 2nd level IT issues quickly and efficiently
- Provide a broad range of support including network and server administration to include Exchange, SharePoint and FS permissions, daily system health checks and system maintenance
Key Requirements:
- A degree in Computer Science, IT or demonstrable experience in a similar position within an SME environment
- Strong experience with 1st & 2nd level support and ITSM processes
- Networking essentials, Microsoft Office 365, Windows & Linux OS and domain administration
- Having an understanding of Exchange Server, GPO and SQL administration, Sage 200, security firewall and project management would be advantageous
