The Company is the charity responsible for the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace, Kew Palace, Banqueting House and Hillsborough Castle in Northern Ireland. They help everyone explore the stories of how monarchs and people helped shape society in some of the greatest palaces ever built.

They manage four unique sites at Kew Gardens, including Kew Palace, the Royal Kitchens, and the recently restored, iconic, Great Pagoda. Telling the story of Georgian royal life at Kew, these places draw visitors from across the world. Bring their colourful history to life, and you will ensure they leave spellbound.

Role Overview:

You will be responsible for leading a team of seasonal Kew Hosts, trained and coached to the highest level of customer service and to help manage the smooth day to day running of the HRP site at Kew.

Kew Palace is open from 5th April – 29th September 2019.

They expect all candidates to be available for the whole period March – October 2019.

The rota will involve working five days out of seven, on a roster which will include weekends and Bank Holidays.

The Candidate:

Excellent people skills are essential, in addition to an exceptional level of customer service and the ability to use your initiative, whilst working in a close-knit team.

Experience of supervising or leading a team is essential along with being GCSE-educated (or equivalent). An interest in history would be desirable.
